1 DNA testing has proven Native American Indians are from Asia, and not Israelites as the Book of Mormon says, thus proving it (and Joseph Smith) false.

Mormons contend that two groups of Israelites left from Israel and set sail, landing in America. Many Mormons were encouraged by Thor Vidal who sailed in the 1960's from Egypt and arrived in South America. Smith claimed the Native American Indians were Israelites who skin had been changed brown due to sin. But scientists said Native Americans were Asians who crossed a now vanished land bridge before the last ice age 10,000 years ago. They cited similarities in appearance and even some trace similairities in language between some Indians and Asian peoples, such as the Indians of the Andes, and the people of Tibet.  The argument was finally put to bed when scientists did a thorough testing of the DNA of Indians, and that of Israelis. They tested the DNA of Indians repereseting every tribe alive today, and also the DNA from skeletal renains from Indian tribes that are extinct. The result was Indians DNA showed no Israeli ancestry. None. Zilch. It did show Asian ancestry.  There’s no denying Indians are from Asia, thus since the Book of Mormon says ALL Indians (not even some, but all) are descended from Israelites, it has to be a fraud, and Smith was a false prophet!  It’s been alleged that the Book of Mormon is plagiarized mostly from a manuscript by Solomon Spalding, with verses from the KJV thrown in, and it would seem to be true. You don't need DNA testing, all you really need is common sense. Look at these pictures below and guess what kind of people are in them:

Indian?
Indian?
Indian?

You're probably thinking these are pictures of Native American Indians or Eskimos, right? These are actually my Vietnamese (Asian) sisters-in-law, Loan and Yen, dressed as ancient native Vietnamese!  We took these pictures at Dalat, Vietnam in March 2007 (at the home of the last emperor of Vietnam, to be exact). I asked my wife why they were dressed like Indians. She said they weren't dressed like  Indians, but rather, like the native people of Vietnam who lived there before the Khmere people (another group of Asians) arrived. As you can see, the resemblance to Native American Indians and Asians is striking! That’s because the Native American Indians are descendents of Asians who left  Asia and traveled over a landbridge across the Bearing Straits which disappeared after the last ice age. They are not "Lamenites", or descendents of Israelites of any kind as the Book of Mormon says.  Mormons will try to rationalize it all they want, but you can't deny the similar characteristics of dress and appearrance, on top of DNA evidence!

2. The Book of Abraham in the Pearl of Great Price is not a lost book of the Bible, but just a Pagan document called The Book of Breathing, thus proving Smith a false prophet.

3. Mormon temple rituals and other things were not the result of "divine revelations", but were simply plagiarized from Scottish Rite Freemasonry.

 4. Joseph Smith was fooled by the Kinderhook Plates, thus proving he was a false prophet.

5. Joseph Smith falsely predicted that all Mormons alive in 1830 would live to See Christ return.

6. Joseph Smith could very well indeed have written The Book of Mormon (and did!).

7.Joseph Smith was not a humble pious man as Mormons claim, but was proud, power hungry, and practiced the occult!

MERE CHRISTIANITY BY C.S.LEWIS You're probably familiar with C.S. Lewis. He's best remembered for the Chronicles of Narnia, which was inspired by the Gospel of Christ. Unlike LaVey, Lewis really did have a doctorate, and was a college professor to boot! Lewis lost his faith early in life and became an atheist, and later rediscovered Christianity through his friend J.R.Tolkien (of Lord of The Rings fame). Mere Christianity is perhaps is best non-fiction work. In it he presents a thinking person's Christianity, showing you don't have to ditch your brain to be a Christian!
